Jeremy Tejada

President

Jeremy has a B.S in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University with dual minors in mathematics and statistics and a PhD in Industrial and Systems Engineering from North Carolina State University with dual minors in statistics and operations research. He is an expert in simulation modeling, simulation-based scheduling solutions, and applied statistical analysis, and has over 10 years of experience in these fields. He has served as the project lead for several simulation-based facility design and scheduling projects. He has applied his diverse expertise to optimize U.S. breast cancer screening and treatment delivery systems, and he has helped clients address challenges in the manufacturing, healthcare, mining, oil and gas, nuclear energy, and food and beverage industries. Over the last five years, Jeremy has served as a project lead, technical lead, and senior applications engineer for simulation-driven scheduling projects. He has successfully positioned SIMCON to be at the cutting edge of simulation and production scheduling solutions both now and in the future.

Matthew Ballan

Applications Engineer III

Matt has an M.E. in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University and has over five years of experience applying statistics and simulation modeling techniques to support projects in manufacturing, nuclear energy, oil and gas, and other industries. He has played a vital role in the development and implementation of integrated simulation-based scheduling solutions, and he has demonstrated expertise developing and leveraging simulation models to support facility design for clients in many industries. He has also served as the lead programmer and quality assurance engineer for a custom simulation engine used to support NRC licensing submittals for nuclear utilities across the United States.

Ian McNelis

Applications Engineer II

Ian has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University with dual minors in mathematics and engineering project management. He has experience leading and serving on project teams that have developed data-driven solutions and simulation models to support facility design projects for Fortune 500 companies. His professional experience includes leveraging his simulation modeling expertise to support applications in additive and advanced manufacturing, food and beverage manufacturing, and metal tooling production. He is certified as both a lean and six sigma green belt, and he has extensive experience with CAD software including AutoDesk Inventor and Fusion 360. His exceptional track record and extensive experience leveraging simulation to tackle challenging problems makes Ian a valuable member of the SIMCON team.

Stephen Bryant

Applications Engineer I

Stephen has a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from North Carolina State University and is a six sigma yellow belt. He has experience teaching simulation modeling and analysis techniques to undergraduates, and he has leveraged simulation to solve challenging problems in the medical industry including supply chain and patient scheduling applications. He is well-versed in numerous programming and simulation languages, including Java and Simio. His extensive simulation background and industry experience make Stephen a valuable member of the SIMCON team.

Randall Gibson

Senior Consultant

Randall Gibson has over 25 years of professional experience in the design, implementation, and simulation modeling of production, distribution, and transportation systems, and is considered one of the senior leaders in the simulation industry. He holds an M.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Applied Physics from the University of California. Earlier in his career he was a co-founder and corporate officer of two high technology software companies, one involved in computer controlled industrial systems and the other in integrated material handling automation and control. He has authored numerous articles on practical aspects of simulation modeling and analysis as applied to business and industrial problems, was a frequent speaker and author at industry conferences, and is a Senior Member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE). His background includes experience in applying simulation modeling and analysis technology to a wide variety of industrial and business problems. He was previously founder of Automation Associates Inc., an engineering consulting firm focused on simulation modeling for supply chain applications. Automation Associates was acquired by TranSystems Corp. in 2005, where he served as Senior Vice President / Principal in the Management and Supply Chain Consulting division. He retired from TranSystems in early 2009 to found Diamond Head Associates (DHA). He retired from DHA in 2019 and joined SIMCON as a senior consultant.

Gregory Quinn

Senior Consultant

Gregory Quinn has a B.S. in Mathematics and a dual M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. He has over 20 years of experience managing scheduling and simulation projects. He has been leveraging simulation and scheduling technology to help manufacturing clients improve their productivity throughout his career. He is familiar with manufacturing methods in process, discrete, and hybrid industries with 40 years of translating project requirements into model design specifications. His project management experience pursues a philosophy that is scaled to the size of the client while maintaining a commitment to discipline that creates an auditable path to project success.

Peter Webster

Senior Consultant

Peter has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University and a M.S. in System Engineering and Design from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He completed his Master of Science thesis comparing the predictive effectiveness of Monte Carlo simulations to other mathematical and empirical models. He has 15 years of experience specifying, designing, and developing simulation models for a wide variety of industrial clients including semiconductor firms, defense contractors, heavy industries, equipment vendors, and distribution centers. In addition to simulation models, he has built reservation-based schedulers, real-time emulators, and warehouse inventory management systems. He has 15 years of experience developing databases, analytic suites, and model interfaces. He has provided customer support and conducted end-user training and classes

Kurt Kreuger

Consultant

Kurt has a B.S. in Computer Science, an M.S. in Engineering Physics, and a PhD in Computer Science. He is an expert in simulation modeling with over seven years of experience utilizing statistics and simulation modeling techniques across numerous applications. He specializes in developing models for public health applications. He created and taught graduate courses for complex systems simulation modeling, developed simulation community resources for complex systems, and has worked with systems experts to develop best-practice guidelines for complex systems modeling.
